EVENT THEME: "chambers" was completed at a private dinner party inspired by bell hooks' book: "All about love." I did a close reading of the book in preparation for the engagement.
QUOTE: "When we love we can let our hearts speak"
GOAL: To create a surrealist heart that felt alive and intergenerational, speaking to family dynamics, our inner child, while giving faces to the beings that often occupy the chambers of our heart.
TIME SPENT: the entire piece was completed 3.5 hours, live before a table of guests.
